Exterior Building Supply, Inc. is a Jacksonville Florida Building Material supplier. Our wide range of products include aluminum windows, composite decking materials, exterior doors, patio and pool enclosures, trimboards, impact windows and weather proofing systems from noted manufacturers like Crane, James Hardie, Certain Teed, Trex, Tyvek, Azec and Miratec. The Exterior Supply Group Corporate StatementThe Exterior Supply Group is the outgrowth of a residential remodeling and building business started by Mike Emily in Greenwood, SC, after a fifteen-year career in various wholesale and retail building material, plumbing, and electrical supply businesses. As the need for a local source of vinyl building products became apparent, he expanded his business to include a small office and warehouse for that purpose in 1982. In 1986, the construction activities were discontinued, and the second location of Exterior Supply was launched in Charleston, SC. Four other branches were launched during the next six years. One location was closed and one sold in the ensuing years. The company currently consists of four locations: the original location in Greenwood, SC; Elizabethtown, KY, opened in 1989; Jacksonville, FL, opened in 1991; and Somerset, KY, opened in 1997. Each operation is individually incorporated and operates both as a separate entity and as a member of a “Controlled Group of Corporations.” The Jacksonville office is employee-owned and operated. Leadership is provided to our excellent employees by Mike Emily as President/General Manager; Kevin Stokes, VP Sales; and Ron Williams, VP Operations. Exterior Supply distributes top-quality specialty building products, with a focus on vinyl siding and windows for residential construction. In addition, the Company sells many related items, including vinyl and composite decking, rails and fencing, fiber cement siding, composite trim, entrance doors and hardware, aluminum trim coil and gutter, specialty tools, climbing equipment, and many other specialty building products. Each location brings its own special touch to the business with local specialty items complementing the lineup, such as pool cages and screen rooms in Jacksonville. Specialty installation of windows and house wrap further enhance the local offerings in Jacksonville. Recognizing the ultimate key to their past and ongoing success, Exterior Supply team members treat their customers with the utmost respect. Through an unwavering commitment to providing exceptional quality in products and service, they strive to achieve and maintain long-lasting and mutually beneficial working relationships with their customers. The Exterior Supply Group has established itself as a respected leader throughout the Southeast, as well as in each local store’s respective community. The Company actively participates in many civic organizations and trade associations at the local, state, and national levels, and currently has one or more employees holding positions of office, including serving on the Board of Directors for the Southern Building Materials Association. Exterior Supply supports a number of charitable organizations at both the local and national level, including the Rotary Foundation, the International Visitor Corps of Jacksonville, the Boy Scouts of America, Habitat for Humanity, and various missions and relief efforts in the U.S. and abroad. |
